Terms of Service

Effective date: October 29, 2026

These Terms govern your use of shaux.app, the SHAUX web app and the SHAUX Android app (the "Service"). The Service is operated by BriskNest US LLC d/b/a SHAUX ("SHAUX," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you share trackers with. You must be at least 13, or the age of majority where you live if you are using the Service for a business.

Your data

You own the data you put into SHAUX. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. You can export your data at any time.

Not professional advice

SHAUX is a bookkeeping tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for your filings.

Plans and billing

The Free plan includes up to 100 entries. Paid plans (Pro and add-ons such as Multi-Tracker, Family and Manager seats) are billed monthly in advance through PayPal or Stripe, at the prices shown in the app when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. When you cancel, your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice, and a new price applies from your next billing period.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. This includes breaking the law, sending spam or fraudulent invoices, uploading malware, trying to access other people's data, overloading or reverse-engineering the Service, or reselling it without our permission. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Third-party services

Sign-in providers, payment processors and integrations you connect are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SHAUX available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features. The public demo resets regularly, so please do not store real data in it.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Account deletion). We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so by law.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BriskNest US LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
